May is a mix of both the subtle soft greens filling in the purple-grays of tree lines and the garden flashes of color from daffodils, tulips, lilacs, and so much more. The beach plums are in bloom with their creamy pink and white blooms set against the stark, nearly charcoal-colored branches. For me it's time to start painting out-of-doors again. I will be bringing this season's works to the galleries during the next several weeks and will continue to add to those works over the next few months as I harvest garden flowers and spend time at the gorgeous vistas that seem to be everywhere!
